A coming-of-age comedy about a Parisian teenager of Tunisian origin who accidentally gets involved in revolutionary social turmoil in the midst of the Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia. While the Arab Spring is blossoming on the streets of Paris, 14-year-old Marwann is preoccupied by something completely different: how to become popular, win the heart of his classmate Sygrid, and get his parents off his back. One evening he comes across a rally and his photograph ends up in the newspaper, accidentally making him the face of the Arab Spring. This sudden fame makes Marwann’s social status among classmates go sky high as he decides to embrace his new identity in order to impress Sygrid.
