When his criminal ways lead him straight into the toxic mud of the Tiber River, petty crook Enzo notices strange transformations on his body. Soon he becomes indestructible, superhuman, and quite unexpectedly, the guardian angel to a traumatized girl who is convinced that Enzo is the personification of a legendary robotic hero from a popular manga series. Since every superhero story needs a good antagonist, Enzo finds his nemesis in the sadistic germaphobic gangster, Fabio, a former talent-show contestant who is extremely envious of Enzo’s growing media popularity. This harsh antipode to superhero blockbusters abounds with action stunts, strong social criticism, and dark humor.
