My First Film official selection was introduced in 2008, and so far it gave us insight into debut films by the most famous Spanish, German, Danish, Austrian, Polish, Romanian and other European directors. Under the selection baton of film critic Nenad Polimac, this year’s line-up features debut films by the most important Irish directors like Jim Sheridan, John Crowley and John Michael McDonagh.
