Next to a good and innovative film program, educational film-related contents are of utmost importance to a recognisable film festival concept. Zagreb Film Festival has from the very beginning been stressing the audience’s need for additional activities such as Q&A’s with directors, special programs for filmmakers and targeted audience, and workshops aiming to develop local production. Industry was introduced in 2012 as a special part of ZFF under the name Industry Youth!, and in 2013 it continued to live with a shorter, albeit more comprehensive name, gathering different contents in a single platform for training and networking.
