BIB FOR KIDS CREATIVE FILM WOKRSHOP

At this year’s, fifth ever, Bib for Kids Creative Film Workshop we will be making yet another short fiction film. The script was written by one of the participants of the workshop From Scene to Screenplay, held at KinoKino Festival. What comes after Spooks (2012), The Intrepid (2013), Alone in the Cinema (2014) and the last year’s Black Van? One way or another, a new location, new participants and new ideas!

However, it takes a lot of work to get from an idea to a premiere. A group of students will go through a process of making a film from scratch – planning the shooting, directing, cinematography and sound and image editing. The workshop is meant for beginners.

Bib for Kids Creative Film Workshop is mentored, for the fifth time, by Jura Troje, to the following schedule:

• 29 and 30 October, from 10am to 3pm at Europa Cinema
• From 31 October to 4 November, from 6pm to 8pm at Europa Cinema
• 5 and 6 November, from 10am to 3pm at Europa Cinema

Young filmmakers will get to cover the basics of film fiction (theoretical and practical), and the film made by these 12 participants at the workshop will premiere at Zagreb Film Festival in the Bib for Kids by RBA section – a special event for elementary schoolchildren, on the big screen of Europa Cinema.
