The latest work by the Romanian director known for his films The Death of Mister Lazarescu and Aurora is an insightful and witty tapestry woven with personal neuroses and political ideologies, which offers a family portrait as well as a unique analysis of society today. Sieranevada is Cristi Puiu’s third film screened at the Zagreb Film Festival. In 2004, his Coffee and Cigarettes won the Golden Pram for Best Short Feature Film.
