Paris, 1930. Two sisters from the USA travel across Europe and thrill audiences by holding spiritual séances on stage. While the younger sister, Kate, communicates with the dead, the older one, Laura, is in charge of the business side of things. Their spectacular performances capture the attention of the influential film producer André Korben, who hires the sisters for his ambitious new project. Laura and Kate are drawn into an emotional rollercoaster of art and the occult where it becomes almost impossible to discern between reality and illusion.
