After his grandfather’s death, a young man called Roman decides to sell his isolated and deserted property. Once there, a local policeman informs him that his grandfather was the crime lord of the area and that his associates don’t intend to let go off the land so easily. Surrounded by wasteland and lawlessness, Roman has to face his grandfather’s successor – seemingly friendly, but ruthless Samir. Mirică’s feature debut is a humorous combination of atmospheric Western and suspenseful thriller. Famous Romanian actor Dragos Bucur (Police, Adjective) plays the lead role, while the charismatic antagonist is portrayed by Vlad Ivanov, known to the ZFF audience from 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days.
