Growing up in foster homes, troubled hip-hop lover Ricky finally finds peace with caring Auntie Bella and grumpy Uncle Hec. When Ricky and Hec are left alone following a tragic event, and Ricky is threatened by another relocation, the duo decides to run away into the wild New Zealand bush. A massive hunt is underway for the two renegades who are forced to overcome their differences in order to preserve their small family.
