Sylvie is the owner of a family brothel which she manages with her mother, Monique. They are not ashamed of their profession, it’s just a routine job and a source of income. Nevertheless, Sylvie doesn’t want her six-year-old daughter, Eline, to discover the true nature of her job. “The women working in the salon just offer hugs to lonely people” is how she tries to explain the world’s oldest profession to a curious child. Eline lives in carefully crafted isolation, and is taken care of by uncle Dirk when mom is at work. But her fascination with the mysterious place will bring Eline in danger.
